The main entrance to the Lainzer Tiergarten, Vienna's spectacular 2,450-hectare nature reserve on the western edge of the city. This former imperial hunting ground is now a protected wilderness area home to wild boar, red deer, fallow deer, and numerous bird species. Near the entrance lies the Schlosspark Teich (Hohenauer Teich), a picturesque pond with playgrounds and meadows perfect for family picnics.
