Option 1 – Hiking-Oriented Route from Vienna

Option 2 – Via Wiener Neustadt

• Südbahn to Wiener Neustadt
• Schneebergbahn to Grünbach am Schneeberg
• From there, hike to the foot of Hohe Wand

Following the blue trail marking (“Grafenbergweg”), the ascent to Wilhelm Eicherthütte takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Another option is using the VOR regional transport system to reach the Maiersdorf toll booth and continue via marked hiking trails to the plateau.
